Chair design finds new meaning with Max Design
Founded in 2000 by Massimo Martino, Max Design has reinterpreted the traditional chair becoming a leader in Italian innovative design with products that are highly modern and functional at the same time. Maxi Designs chairs and stools are pure innovation where the new lines of design combined with avant-guard materials and new manufacturing technologies coexist in perfect harmony. The contribution to Max Design from the best international talent has created products such as the curvy I’m dreaming chair by Dominic Symons, the fun moving stool by Gabriele Pezzini and the X3 chair by Marco Maran.
Moving designed by Gabriele Pezzini is a great stool made of 100% recyclable Polyethylene with a stainless steel handle. The stool resembles a solid bucket and is ideal in any modern child’s bedroom. Available in multiple choice of colour such as white, sky blue, apricot, mint green, dark green, anthracite and cola.
My personal favourite is the famous I’m dreaming chair by Dominic Symons who designed this chair following the curvy line of a dreaming person sitting down. This chair is made of 100% recyclable Polyethylene and comes in a variety of colours. Just like there are many places in which to dream I’m dreaming will fit anywhere in the house, in the patio, by the pool or in any kid’s room.
The X3 chair designed by Marco Maran is more than just a great design, this unique chair is made by using a totally new technique whereby the bi-injection of two materials is adopted for the first time in this
industry: transparent polycarbonate and mass-coloured Desmopan (thermoplastic polyurethanes).
The design of X3 has deliberately highlighted this technology with a transparent shaped sheet that has a regular square mesh structure. In the moulding process the first injection of polycarbonate forms the shell and the hollow mesh structure. The second injection of mass-coloured Desmopan fills the cavities evenly, strengthening the overall stability of the chair and adding the final aesthetic touch of colour.
The X3 chair is available in different styles, with four legs, revolving on a fixed base, two levels stool and armchair style.
