Layer is the new table designed by Luca Nichetto for Italian furniture company Gallotti & Radice, who will introduce it at the next Salone del Mobile in Milan. At the centre of the clever design is a simple stacking technique of single building blocks of curved wood. The layers of wooden ring recall the shape of the palm trunk and work as support to the glass tabletop. This simple stacking principle allows to obtain tables of different heights without changing the basic design.
